Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1-cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup marshmallows
- 2-3 cups Rice Krispies
Note: I started with 2 cups of Rice Krispies in a separate bowl and poured the mixture on top and stirred until they were well coated. I added the 3rd cup based on how much additional mixture there was.
Instructions:
- Using a double boiler on medium heat, melt butter and peanut butter.
- Add chocolate chips; stir in vanilla when melted.
- Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended.
- Remove from heat and cool the mixture slightly.
- Add Rice Krispies, stirring until coated.
- Using a spatula, press into a buttered pan.
- Cool and then cut into squares.
Tip from Nana: Using a piece of paper towel, place over a couple of fingers and dab into butter and spread into the pan. Less mess!
